The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is one of the equestrian world’s most prestigious events and the longest continuously running international event. Top British and international competitors compete over the three-day event in dressage, show jumping, and cross country, on a course designed by former Land Rover Burghley winner Captain Mark Phillips.
The current leader of the HSBC FEI Classics Series and this year's Land Rover Burghley winner, Oliver Townend, as well as last year’s HSBC FEI Classics Series champion, and five-time Land Rover Burghley winner William Fox-Pitt, both comment on this year’s event.
Land Rover Burghley is the fourth event in the HSBC FEI Classics series; along with the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event in the USA, the Luhmühlen Horse trials in Germany and Les Etoiles de Pau in France.
